Credentials: Master Mariner (Class I) certified by Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut (Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia), PADI Divemaster, Advanced First Aid & CPR certified, over 20 years experience navigating Indonesian waters, 10+ years specifically in Raja Ampat.

Bio: Captain Budi is the heart of our marine operations. A native of South Sulawesi, his connection to the sea runs deep, inherited from generations of Bugis seafarers. With an intimate knowledge of Raja Ampat’s intricate channels, hidden coves, and best dive sites, Captain Budi ensures every voyage is safe, smooth, and spectacular. His calm demeanor, exceptional navigational skills, and commitment to guest satisfaction make him an invaluable leader on our Phinisi vessels. He is also a passionate advocate for marine conservation, often sharing insights into the Coral Triangle’s delicate ecosystem with our guests.

Dr. Anya Wijaya

Role: Head of Sustainable Tourism & Guest Experience

Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Conservation Biology (Universitas Hasanuddin), Certified Ecotourism Professional (Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif), ASITA Member, Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and local Papuan dialects.

Bio: Dr. Anya combines her scientific background with a flair for luxury hospitality. Bio: Pak Wayan is the orchestrator behind the scenes, ensuring every detail of your journey, from airport transfers in Sorong (Domine Eduard Osok Airport) to onboard provisioning, is executed flawlessly. His extensive network of local partners, including Garuda Indonesia for domestic flights and reliable ground transport providers, guarantees seamless transitions. Wayan’s meticulous planning and proactive problem-solving skills ensure that even in Raja Ampat’s remote setting, guests experience the highest level of comfort and convenience. She ensures that our tourism activities contribute positively to local livelihoods, supporting traditional crafts, local guides, and community-based initiatives. Mr. David Chen

Role: Fleet Maintenance & Safety Officer

Credentials: Certified Marine Engineer (Class II) by Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Advanced Fire Fighting & Sea Survival certified, 15 years experience in luxury yacht maintenance.

Bio: David is responsible for the impeccable condition and safety of our Phinisi fleet. His expertise ensures that all vessels meet and exceed international marine safety standards, undergoing rigorous maintenance schedules and regular inspections. He implements our comprehensive emergency protocols and ensures all crew members are thoroughly trained in safety procedures, including those mandated by KSOP Sorong.
